Poetry and Commemoration at Valle Crucis

Description

This book was created to accompany an exhibition held at Llangollen Museum in June and July 2026. Both the book and the exhibition are products of a creative collaboration designed to highlight the contribution of Valle Crucis abbey to the cultural life of north-east Wales, drawing together new artwork and interpretative material. As well as portrayals of the magnificent burial monuments, this book includes a selection of the literature connected with the abbey, especially the poetry of Gutun Owain and Guto’r Glyn.
